    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Alongside a wealth of practical experience in the Print & Signage industry, Cal brings his Graphic Design flare to Bala Graphics as the Creative Director. Owning and operating Killing Time Studio (2021-2025) has given Cal the opportunity to work on countless creative & practical signage solutions. Specialising in Traditional Signwriting, or hand painted signs, Cal embraces the beauty in the imperfection, whilst always keeping a keen eye on detail. When he’s not making signs, Cal is a proud Boxer dad and keen outdoorsman.

  • Cam MacDonald

    PROJECT MANAGER

    A self-confessed Sign Nerd, there’s not much Cam doesn’t know about the signage industry. With over 10 years of installation experience, from simple decals to elaborate sky signs, Cam has a wealth of knowledge for all things hands-on. Owning and operating Statement Signs, Cam has been a sought after installer for many of Melbourne’s premier graphics companies. Boasting a background in Project Management, Cam ensures his projects run according to plan, budget & timeline, never without a tasty beverage or sweet treat in hand.

  • Henry Lucas

    GRAPHIC ARTIST

    The wearer of many hats; Henry Lucas is not just a graphic designer, he’s a production wizard, animator, website builder & psych rock drummer. Utilising his design abilities, Henry provides creative solutions to a wide range of clients and their ambitious briefs. Henry’s attention to detail in pre-press is paramount when setting up files for print & projection. Oh, and did we mention, Henry’s handy on the basketball court too.

  • Kay Lewandowski

    SIGNAGE TECHNICIAN

    Our resident tinkerer, Kay utilises his mechanical engineering degree to render 3D Shop Drawings, build intricate signage & more importantly, rig up a banging soundsystem. With an upstart mentality, Kay is driven to build Bala Graphics from the ground up, making sure our workflow & systems are bulletproof for those hard-to-manage jobs. When he’s not oiling the studio machine, he’s out with Cam working on signage installation across this beautiful city he now calls home.
